Handsome and Gretel

With Handsome and Gretel No Strings Marionette Company serves up a scrumptious rendition of the fairy tale classic. A poor woodcutter and his family live at the edge of a deep forest. Sister Gretel works hard to help the family while brother Handsome has come to believe he can breeze through life on his good looks alone. Eventually lost in the forest, the children are sweetly lured to the candy cottage of a witch who has very poor eyesight. She is blind to Handsome's charms and places Gretel's life in mortal danger. A cast of fourteen hand-crafted whimsical marionettes lead this journey of never ending action, where the unexpected frolics in the familiar from the opening scene right on through to the last beat of music. Will Handsome discover his true potential in time to rescue his sister? Find out as you savor the tale of Handsome and Gretel.

Nick of Time

Suspend reality and take a trip that is truly out of this world. Join Astronaut Nick Eastman and his robot companion Glitch on a space mission to study black holes. After encountering a deep-space alien, Nick is sucked into a time-warp and explores many intriguing dimensions of puppetry. See if our time travelers can decipher the gravity of their situation and save Earth in the Nick of Time.

The Snowmaiden

Nineteen exquisitely hand crafted marionettes are featured in one of Russia's most beloved folk tales. As Father Frost spreads Winter throughout the land, he comes across a most amazing sight. A perfect little maiden sculpted entirely of snow! Mother Spring breathes life into the figure, making dreams come true for a childless couple who embrace the Snowmaiden with a love as deep and wide as Old Mother Russia herself. Can love sustain this child of winter as the seasons change? This kind and gentle hour long performance is appropriate for audiences of all ages.

Field of Faeries

Isabelle Popinki is a girl with a mission! She aims to be a first class scientist and archaeologist in the Field of Faeries. In a vacant lot near her home in a Detroit suburb, Isabelle grows a garden of plants historically used to attract the Faerie Folk. On Halloween Eve, while other neighborhood kids costume themselves for Trick or Treating, Isabelle prepares to fulfill her lifelong dream � to actually meet a Faerie. Sanjeev Patil is a technological whiz kid. His aim this Halloween is to teach his friend Isabelle a lesson with a remote control fairy. The two are transported through a mushroom to the Land of Faerie, where they must help save this underground domain from a man-made menace.
